Chief of Strategy

Michael brings decades of leadership across healthcare strategy, innovation, and value-based care. He also serves as an advisor to RA Capital Management, a $10 billion multi-stage investment fund where he previously served as a full-time venture partner.

Earlier, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Point32Health and Chief Medical Officer at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, where he led groundbreaking efforts to expand access to innovative therapies, including cell and gene therapies and treatments for rare diseases, through strategic partnerships and pioneering value-based payment models. He has also held senior executive roles at Humana, UnitedHealthcare, and other nationally recognized healthcare organizations.

Michael received BA and MS degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, an MD from Yale, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
